I have a set of TEIN HA's for my 01 lude, but the 675lb F and 450lb R spring rates are a little too much for a daily driver on Michigan roads. (I wish I worked some place else!)
anyone know the spring rates for the TEIN SS's?
Also, are the dampers the same for the SS and HA's? or different?
Thanks,
Daniele DeFranceschi

http://www.tein.com has all your answers.
The spring rates are 8F 4R kg/mm which translate to 448F 224R lb/in. I've been told from a Tein distributor that the shocks are valved less agressively than the HA. So the SS is definitely more for street driven daily drivers.

That's a little softer in the rear than I wanted... I was hoping for something closer to 300. I guess I'm too picky!
what to do, what to do????

holy ****! haha... those spring rates were off the wall... that is way tooooooo stiff... i have ground control coilovers on my ride and i have 400 front and 375 rear... just a lil bit stiffer than what gc usually sends which is 375 front 350 rear...
but up to 450 front and 425 rear is perfectly fine for street roads...

Oh I forgot. You can order special spring rates from TEIN. So maybe you can get your 300lb springs.
http://www.turboevolution.com, and email him what you need. Good guy Great service! From what I hear it is $50/spring.
