Skunk 2 or Ground Control Coilovers?
I was just looking to get some input as to which is the better buy when it comes to coiovers. I have heard that Skunk 2's have a rougher ride, but I am not really sure. Just wonderin what people think.
I ended up going with GC because I loved the feel and handling of my friend's TypeR. But personally I wouldn't try to just get people's opinion's on coilovers, but there entire setup (coilovers, shocks, camber kits, etc.). It'll give you a better idea if you're look at the ride.
I'd go with Ground Control, Eibach will always rule in my book, they know their springs---but I won't deny that competition is high these days in aftermarket springs...
i had skunk2's in my 97 civic... ride was decent... now those coilovers are in my friend's gs-r.... ride is prettty good and he doesn't even have aftermarket shocks.
i have ground controls on konis in my 01 prelude... smooth like butta... IMO, both are good, but like the dude above said, Eibach springs are nice... so i'd recommend ground control...

Well of course "true coilovers" are going to be nicer than sleeves, but there is a significant cost difference ($500 for shocks/sleeve coilovers versus $900+ for true coilovers)....
I'd like to see some track times for identical cars running true coilovers versus shocks/sleeve coilovers that justify the almost double cost difference
