Default bleeding brake lines.

i've search and came out with noting..

ok so heres the problem. i bled my brakes the other day and now when i depress the brake pedal it slowly goes down almost to the floor.

i used the bleeding procedure:

left front
front front (yes front front)
right rear
left rear.

jus like how my manual told me to.

but i think i did it wrong. when it said left did it mean driver or passenger side?
anyone know the correct sequence to bleed brakes?

thanks

when bleeding brakes you should always start at the caliper furthest away from the M/C. Starting with rear passenger side, rear drivers side, front passengers side, front drivers side. Also you may want to check the fluid level and if the M/C cap is tight enough, this will cause air to enter the system and may be what's causing your pedal to fade. Hope this helps

thanks for the reply. yea i always though you were supposed to bleed the caliper furthest away from master cylinder but in the repair manual it tells me to use those sequence but you know how sometimes whey they say left or right its from either inside the car looking out or outside looking in. so if i say left side it can go either way of the car.

so when my manual said "left front" did it mean front driver side or passenger side?

I think the left and right are respective to sitting in the car, ie. the drivers side is left and passenger right. I always say drivers or passengers side when I tell someone about something like this, just so there is no mix up because it can get confusing.
