You could still turbo your SH, and just live with the loss of functionality of the ATTS. Several on po.com have done this.

i believe its 250-280whp and you lose the functionality of the ATTS....i have an SH and I plan to go turbo and am not worried about losing the ATTS..what i am worried about is blowing my motor and the fact that im having a hard time a reputable tuning shop that wont make my motor go boom because of their bad tuning...yeah you can remove the ATTS but it would cost too much...a T4 60-1 will take care of that dead weight and then some

if you need tuning on your motor, i'd love to be the one to help out. just need to drive the 3 hrs or so to syracuse. i'm in the process of building up a prelude to turbo myself but we should be able to tune your stock block to handle 8-9psi without blowing up. i would not push it past that. i recommend you go Hondata.

i cant promise that your motor will not blow but i can promise that i can tune you to your desired specs. no one will guarantee not to blow your motor!! there are too many variables.

i personally recommend a built motor then you dont have much to worry about

Mine is SH with Turbo and is being rebuilt as we speak. You lose ATTS with any increase in torque above stock. I had to modify a few things to get the turbo kit on bit it did work out in the end.

That is so not true...where the hell did you hear that from???? If you have a standalone then you definitely lose it..but at around 250-260 you can lose it...some people over at po.com still have their ATTS and they are pushing 260whp

So what are you saying, normal bolt on will make you lose the atts, cause mine still kicks in?!?!?! and what kit do you have?

does anyone have a NA sh that makes good HP and still has atts
mugenpoweredlude: your a member at po.com? can you find out for me what the NA sh are pushing?

aight, cool. thanks man. it just sucks losing it, even though im sure you wouldnt mind if the suspension is tuned real nice. But oh well, as if the prelude wasnt heavy enough, we dont really need 80 extra lbs. so technically you could boost it moderately and keep the atts if you only have like 230-250 hp?

it depends...some say this number and others say other numbers...i gues we will find out for ourselves when and if we go turbo as every car is different..as i concluded from all the different numbers people are telling me with the ATTS and all

One member on po.com had an SH JRSC setup running 9 psi on a GE sleeved and built motor. He was pushing about 260 whp and still had a fully functional ATTS system.

It's hella worth it, especially for the FI forum there. There is so much info on that board, and it is all lude related.
