OK, I see a lot of you guys that remove the moldings from your EG+ Hatches. My question is: Are there brackets and mounting holes that you have to fill in or are the moldings applied with adhesive.

I looked at my car and they appear to be bolted on or attached with clips. If there are cars that use adhesive which models/years are they. BTW, I have a 93 DX HB if that helps.

I would appreciate a little run down on all of this

Yeah bro there are holes back there ... little plastic clips .. if you take the molding off you will need to get them shaved (Filled in)

 

the people who do not have side moldings on their hatches most likely have a cx or vx which didnt come with side molding. for example if i took off the side molding on my ex than there will be several square holes where the molding mounts onto.

 

Sidemoulding can be dope, either get it color matched or get this. Dammit, this website sucks, anyway, go to http://www.jdmhondaparts.com and go to JDM OEM honda, they have EG and EK thin sidemouldings, dopeness.
