EK or EG body for built GS-R N/A...?
I currently have a built GS-R in an EG, I am considering swapping everything over to an EK, what (beside an obvious but minor weight difference) are the benefits here and would you do it?
i just like the ek's more. and besides, since they are newer there is less chance for rust. u never know how the last person treated the car.
If you want speed then go for an EG which is a little lighter then an EK, and cheaper so you can buy more go fast goodies. If you want "baller" status, get an EK, they are damn sexy and everyone around her knows it

Not much difference..50 lbs plus or minus a few...it all comes down to which body style you like better...99's are a lot heavier tho

I, myself, is in a quandary. I have a 96 EK DX and a 92 EG VX and I can't decide which one to keep and mod......hmmmmmm
wasn't there a topic by tom about the comparison between the two body style?
