Absolutely beautiful on sunday..... chasing those open cockpit spec racer things up the hill at 100 was cool. Then i rolled 'em

Corey, Jack and I won our class, and came in 6th overall out of 32 cars.

Rough start to the weekend though... REALLY rough.

Me and friend drove 20 (round trip) hours in a 24-hour period hoping to catch a ride in one of the Northeast HPDE cars. But god knows that HPDE on sunday ends at 2pm ...should've gone with Bbasso. But I made an implusive decision after I was drunk and left NYC at 4am Sunday morning...

Anyway, we got lost in the back roads in Alton for like a half hour due to the "short cut" routes printed by Mapquest....we found this:

uphill esses at ~100mph...i still can't believe i did that
VIR is awesome

 

As usual, I was conservative. At the most I entered the uphill esses at 80mph. I think once I did it at 80+ but I am not sure, because I was following someone.

VIR is just simply awesome. Well, worth the 9 hour drive.

 

are you sure you're not doing 100km/h

yea, i did the uphill esses @ 80. thats as fast as she'd go. that was flatfooting it all the way.
