how much should i pay for 1g injectors that have been cleaned?

 

i got a set of 4, cleaned, balanced, and tested for $125 shipped from mike palm on h-t. he does great work and they even come with a warranty

 

I paid $50 for mine, then paid another $50 to get them cleaned.

 

I would say $100 is fair - the injectors go for about $30-$50, and cleaning varies widely ($25/set to $100 a set). Some cleanings are better than others (replacing pintile caps, filter baskets, and o-rings for example).

Also, make sure they aren't 1G AT squiters.

so you guys say avg around 100.....what was be the worst that can happen if the injectors are not cleaned

 

each cyclinder may get a different amount of fuel, causing lean conditions in one or multiple cylinders. as you probably know, a lean condition can be deadly to your motor.

 

you know any1 selling clips for a 95 integra?

I just picked up my 450cc's from RRE for $20 each...it was just pulled from a eclipse that day...i have to go and clean and balance them...my room smells like gas...Sonny sells the kits OBD1 clips and the resistors you need

 

You dont need the clips, your car is obd1

 

I got mine fore 50 dollars but they weren't clean.... when i get a chance I'll get them clean but right now they seen to be running fine

 

ok thanks. what cars need the obd1 injectors? is that for the obd2 right

 

i paid $50 for a set of 450s off a 99 GSX. They had been pulled off of my friends car a few days before so i never got them cleaned.

You dont need clips for obd1 cars..only obd2.

And instead of paying $30 for RC clips you can get GM clips from autozone for $10.
