civic Si owners?
when i got my registratrion papers from the dmv i noticed that my car was marked as a "Civic HX" as not as a Si as i would expected. i did run a carfax and it comes out as a Si/SiR. just wondering if any ones registation also states the si as a HX. thanks in advance

people make mistakes. just go and correct it. my old DA was a kinda goldish tan. they marked it as silver.
once i got a ticket and the officer handed me the piece of paper. later on that day i noticed he wrote down the WRONG lic plate. F = E when u have a lic cover... i never paid and it never went on my record.

There is now way they messed up, they have your vin number and it is all done electronically via a telecomunications network. the Vin # (vehicle Idetification number) describes your car, and when you received your registration the vin will be on there making it impossible to have a mistake. In english, your car is an HX, better get used to it. YOu goT RippEd off buddy!
Check the VIN on the papers to make sure it has been recorded correctly.
Back when I owned my Civic EX, someone had copied one character of the VIN wrong on the papers - so when I went to the dealer to have extra keys made, the computer said the car didn't exist.
I had to notify my insurance and the state DOT to have it corrected.

list it has a HX on your insurance too, that what it will be cheaper.... they'll never know, (unless u make a claim) cause the DMV has it as a HX not an Si..........

Besides, if they run the correct VIN through their computer, it'll show up as an Si regardless of what the DMV lists it as.
DMV? make mistakes? NO.....lol, thats what they say. They believe that they never made a mistake. I never got my tags for 6 months when I bought it from dealership. but I did get my registration paper. Anyways, to my suprise, a cop pulled me over for no tags. I showed him my paper, and I still had that little piece of paper in the right hand corner that the dealership said was good for 6 months of registration. Well cop saw I was registered, and still ran my plate to see if it was true. Well he takes like 30 mins...finally comes back and tells me he's gonna write me up for no tags. I told this dick of a cop that I am registered and I'm good for 6 months from what the dealership told me, he told me oh well fight it in court. Anyways that was off-topic, but I called dmv the next day and told them I got a ticket because they never sent my tags. I was like no you guys never sent my tags to me, the dmv employee implies that I probably got them, but lost them or I'm trying to get another set. And said it was my fault for not getting my tags, I was like whatever, send my tags, bye... In the end, the DMV does make mistakes, they probably won't want to admit it.
