I'm in the same dilemna you are. I have $1100 to spend. Wheels or MSD and Nitrous? I hate this.

I would say go for the Nitrous. But what do i know I can't even decide for myself.

i say, tires and a header...with nitrous, you'll end up having to spend more and more money to fill up the bottle

I say, forget the header for now considering Honda designed a pretty damn good header for their cars, and aftermarket headers don't live up to the hype---Mugen and Greddy may be exceptions, but even the gains are minimal compared to other available upgrades. I say you buy a bigger fuel pump, FPR, a nitrous kit, and push a 70-80 shot all day. You'll be glad you did it--with the setup you have now, you could be knocking your times down to low low 14s, and if you're good, eek into the 13s

Edit: Shop smart and I'm sure you could do it with 800 bucks...

How do you explain the U turn the header on the CL and TL engine header? I think Honda 'underclocked' those cars.

i say forget the nitrous and save for a turbo. nitrous is all its cracked up to be, i mean, yeah its great, my friend used to run it on his z28, but in the end, he liked supercharging better. you can save a little more and get a nice turbo.

OK, lets cut down the choices.... do you want looks or performance? cause we are all mentioning performance mods, but you mentioned a carbon fiber hood earlier. think about which way you want to go. if you get the hood, there goes almost half your dough....but you could still maybe get the header

Ya some of those rims that keep spinning when you stop, that would be tight j/k.
Im acctually debating now on either the hood and a header or the nitrous setup and fuel stuff.

hood and header
both good choices though. will you be able to have the money to keep filling the bottle, or do your other bills leave you with not much spending cash? cause that you might take into consideration too

I dont think i will have a problem filling it im just not sure if i will have enough to do everything as far as fuel and ignition go to do it safely. I found a NX kit for 325 shipped, that leaves me with a lot of cash to play with so thats what im leaning towards now.

Check the classifieds, their are ussually alot of people selling fuel pieces and stuff, maybe you can get a good deal and get everything for under you budget.
good luck

EDIT: lil off topic but, i am thinking of dumping some money into tightening up my suspension, i was thinking skunk 2 front upper and rear lower bars and spoon sports upper rear bar, anyone have any opinions on these two brands?!? thanks

I would say get the NOS and fuel stuff....ohhh and dyno tuning...very important!!!

POSlude97....youre gonna have a hard time if not impossible time trying to find spoon front and rear strut bars....since theyre not made anymore..you might be lucky and find them in the classifieds on here or po.com...if youre a member..which i highly reccomend you sign up for(just a suggestion) but you can go with skunk2 although i have never heard any word on them...i know the neuspeed front strut bar is very good for a 5th gen..and maybe a tannabe sustec rear bar or something else....

yeah i think i can still get the rear spoon bar, but thats why i was gonna go for skunk2 front and rear lower. I havent heard much about them on here either which is why i asked. They look pretty sturdy though. Well if i get them, it will be this week, so I'll let you know what i think of them, if anyone cares.
