I'm 16 and I pay about $400 for 6 months. It's not for a hatch, but for a sedan =P that's with a good grade discount and some driving program discount from state farm

depends what kind of coverage you have. there is 10k liability up to 250k. and 50k uninsured motorists..etc...etc..
i pay 2k per year for full cover and up to 100k of all bodily injury, medical, and 50k uninsured/theft..and 3500 property.
the 3500 property will cover some of the theft of modifications [knock on wood] if it's ever stolen [/knock on wood]

To get a much more acurate idea...you have to factor in location (huge one) and if you are an occasional driver (i.e. on your parents plan) or as a main driver.

I live in St.Paul, MN. 23yr old and pay $85/month for my 94 SI. Reason why it's so high is the zip code I live in is starting to turn 'ghetto'. That and my car's been broken into twice in the past year and a half. I hate theives.
