Default 5zigen or apex ws

Hey, somebody is getting rid of their 5zigen fireball cat back (minus axle back)
basically a midsection for $245. Is this a good deal or not? Has anybody used the fireball setup on a h23?
Anybody had any experience w/ apex ws? (same application as above)
I can get a full cat-back new for $375.

Any help appreciated
Thanks.

My friend has a civic with a WS and it is nice. it is louder than stock, but it isnt loud like alot of the other options out there. nice if police in your area hassle kids with exhausts

i have the 5Zigen Fireball on my Si. its freaking dope i love it. its deep inside the car, and outside. it has a racey/throaty sound to it, no raspy noises at all. quiet when cruising and loud as hell when you step on it

The apex looks nicer than the canister-type muffler too. (fireball)
Nice and discreet.

Might be a little loud for my tastes though.

I've heard the midsection on the WS hangs a little too low though.

Depending on the condition of the cat-back, i'd say that's a good deal.

i had one and the section that hangs a bit too low in the union between the midsection and you muffler section itself.

there are several ways to fix this, BUT you'd have to be good with metal work and such, due to cutting the hanger things they come with and fix the problem.

I'd say look into the WS2, which is better than the predecesor, and they are supposed to have that low hanging problem fixed.

look in there, hope you like it.

I'll buy one, but right now i am doing a 5 speed swap on my 5th gen, so no $$$ for that mod YET.
