When ever my temp gauge goes up to half way, and I turn it off for more then 10 minutes its not going to turn back on. I try for awhile like 4 times in 1 minute intervals and then wait like 3 minutes and it finally starts again.

i just got my head rebuilt it was warpped due to overheating. mechinic says my cat is clogged. my question is it the heat that makes my car like that, or is it the cat when it's hot?

 

I once had a clogged cat in one of my old cars. I would just be driving and it would stall... It would seem wierd that you couldnt start it because the fumes the were being clogged disapate after turning it off.. How long does it take to be able to turn it back on?
