Supercharged......My old B16 made 219/146 at 8-9 psi with a Jrsc........Easy,RELIABLE power.Best thing about it was the tq though.I dont regret my purchase at all......All in all,IMHO all motor will cost more on a B16,and NOT have anywhere near the same results as boosting the thing....

I can`t answer that question unless you tell me what you`d like to do with the car and your goals.

Why all-motor?

You can make some nice power on a stock b-series with a Jackson.

Take a stock b16 and make 220/150 with 8-10psi.
Take a stock b18c and make 220/150 with 6psi

You know how much work it takes to get an all motor b-series to make 220/150. . .

But personally I say go turbo and make some real power w/o sounding awful. . .

Why would someone choose to go all motor with a B16 vs a blower? No flaming,im just curious to hear why some of you guys would.....Ever been in a well tuned JRSC b16 powered car?My friend had over 5K into his all motor 00 Si,and everytime we raced,i would HONESTLY totally destroy that car by at least 4 legnths...Even giving him the jump...

Looks like I will be going w/ the B16A2 & JRSC @ 9psi.
I had a JRSC on my d1678 and it was a beast, but I was just looking for opinions on an all motor setup vs. jrsc setup.
I have not had an all motor setup and was considering it, however, I have had a supercharged setup and it was fun. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do this time an needed opinions.

thanks.

There Is no ******* way he had that much under the hood, because your sig says 13.5, which means your boy is like a mid-high 14 sec car, If you are beating him by 4 cars like you say,and you said you gave him then jump, so maybe you are lying,or maybe he didnt have much under there, but 5g's under the hood, unless he bought ******* 3000 neon lights and stuck them in there. he should be beating your ***...

just face it B16s suck. ur in a lose lose situation. the JRSC B16 is goin to b slow (but faster than the NA B16) and doin all motor B16 is still goin to b torqueless.do a B18 and then decide.

hmmm, I ran 13.5@107 w/2.3 60ft with my JRSC b16. 12 sec ride with traction. The Car weighs 2750 with my in it.

I made 220whp/153 TQ with my b16. Yeah, Torque less.

How much HP/TQ does your JUN III powered 1.8L have?
