i've been looking into getting drag radials. well today i saw an add for BF, saying buy any 4 tires, get the gtech free. since i was gonna get some drag radials anyway i was thinking i should order the BF ones.

how do the bf drag radials compare to other brands such as Nitto etc.....

The Nitto 555R has a harder sidewall & is a much better "street" than BFG drag radial. Read the reviews...

I oun a set of the Nitto 555R's & I really like them (not just becuase I'm selling them). Check out this link to the Nitto's that are still for sale, I have recieved replys, but I've seen no money yet. (I'm still waiting to hear from one guy, though) https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=42209

I'd wait for the new BFG to come out they are supposed to have more sizes avail. I have the BFG 205/50 R15 and they are alright but I think they are a little big.

I have the Nitto NT-555-R 205/45-15, I've been happy with them so far, but when I was at IAS in Long Beach I spent some time speaking with a product development person for BFG, the new tires have a new tread design, and a new tread compound that is stickier than the previous tire. I am looking forward to the new tire.

If I remember the add correctly, one of the Jun cars ran a 10.8 on the new Gforce drag radials. Have to be a prety good tire to do that I guess.

i think the old ones are better then nitto's but i haven't heard anything about the new ones, i don't trust the test done by the people that are selling them. they could have put extra VHT on them so they can run better or something like that you know companies.

I have a set of the old BfG's Drag Radials and I love them. I have seen other friends drop from 2.0 60 ft. times with the Nitto 555's to 1.8 60 ft. times. I recently had a chance to see the new BfG's and they felt awesome, I could actually feel the quality in the tire. It almost seemed like a cheater slick...

I have a set of the old ones and would say they are pretty good . I was able to pull off 2.1 60 ft times at the drag strip in my itr with just bolt ons and minor tuneing.
