Default Greddy Install on 99 Civic SI

Hey guys thought I would share my experience helping install a greddy kit on my friend Tim's Si. First of all Arturbo was right, this is as close as a "bolt on" kit as you can get. We had to do no major adjustments or cutting. Everything was a snap to get in, much easier than when we did ITR206's custom setup.

Yes the kit has a small 18g but for what Tim wanted it works great. He is using the greddy bluebox and stayin at 5.5psi stock boost for the time being. The bluebox seems to work great. We threw no codes and the car seemed to pull nicely. We hope to see results close to if not 200whp. We will see at dyno day. For now here are some pics I snapped.

Tims Sweet xenondepot.com HID kit 5000k. Very nice ballast install. Can't wait to get mine.

Hard to see but I told Tim to go with a block adapter for the turbo oil feed line. It is the greddy and it worked like a charm.

This one speaks for itself. This is what I think of the bluebox

Nice engine pic.

Autometer Cobalt series gauges, shitty picture but the gauges are actually pretty sweet. They are no greddy gauges

hmmm. What the hell is that twig lookin thing. Oh ya its the DP

Definitely my favorite addon to the greddy kit. This thing is money

Basically it was a nice easy install. Things worked nicely and we had him up and running well today. Now hopefully the dyno will give some good numbers.

What'd you use to notch your bumper support for the Type 24?

Isn't that IC a little big for a Greddy kit?

I must have had that bumper off and on about twenty times. Between the intercooler, the install of the foglights, and the modification of the fogs, it has gotten to the point where the foam piece has vanished without a trace. I tried putting posters up to find the thing but it seems to have run away forever.
Seriously it does not really mater if that thing is there or not. With as much cutting that was done the bumper support, the front end of the car will fold like a tent if I'm ever in an accident. Needless to say it did not even matter.

To notch the support I used a wizz wheel.
It took me about 15 minutes to do it.
