Default .

I tried searching and couldn't find the info I wanted to know.
My question is, I know that many people have put B16A1's into their 4th gen hatch/2nd gen rex. although does the B16A2 go in pretty much the same way. cause theres a 95 del sol v-tec in a local wrecking yard with a B16A2 engine, and I just wanted to know if it'll bolt in with the hasport mounts, or were those made specifically for the 1st gen B16?

also, I'm guessing that I wouldn't be able to use the tranny off the del sol because it is hydraulic. so would a cable tranny (Y1, J1, S1) work on the B16a2? and what about the ECU in the del sol, would i be able to use that, is it either a pr3 or a pw0?

thanks a lot for all the help

I can answer a few of your q's...

I'm pretty sure that you can bolt the B16A3 from the del sol into an ED with the Hasport mounts.

A first gen B16 cable tranny will work. You could use the Del sol ecu, but you'd have to convert to OBD-I. If you were to use the first gen ECU you'd need distributor, injectors, etc etc. If you can get the engine complete I would just convert to OBD-I and use the sel sol stuff.
