Default icebox install ?

So i installed my icebox today and i love the OEM kind of look to it, but my only concern is the lower air horn...it just doesnt feel...secure...i installed the metal bracket and lined up and tightend the c-clamp as much as i could but it just doesnt seem like it holds it on there very well, im just concerned ill be driving and it will just wiggle its way off..anyone have any similar concerns or thoughts on this problem? thanks!

If u installed the clamp proberly and the C-Clamp as tightly as you can then i should be fine. Just check it to make sure it is always attached. Mine came off once and i honestly could tell the difference in performance. No biggy just keep an eye on it.

mine _used_ to fall off often...

I finally got it right...just make sure it's really tight.

you could try wrapping a piece of duct tape around the joint. that's pretty much how the mugen intake holds the horn on.

I had an icebox on there before the mugen, but never had any problems with it coming off.

you don't even need to use the clamp to have it secure - problem with icebox - it traps water from beind the turn signal.. as long as you have the clamp installed you could fit the the lower horn over both clamp and upper piping, you want to raise the car in the front and take out turn signal - to see better.

if you want to use the clamp - make sure its tight enough or it will come loose and fall off.

my **** kept falling off too.
i just leave it completely off like i do when it rains
when i get off my lazy *** i'm gonna uninstall it...
wrap the intake with something like tape so the lower
arm is a more tight fit.

imo the o-ring provided is a hair too big.
