Default tie/strut bars...front, back, upper, lower...which makes the biggest difference?

now, i know strut bars make a big difference in how a car handles, or so i hear. which, however, are more important? upper front? lower rear?

furthermore, i've read that having at least the upper front strut bar be a solid beam, and not one with hinged brackets on either end (as is commonly seen on ebay in the $20 range)...how much of a difference is there? are there others with completely solid construction besides the neuspeed bar?

4genhatch, i know you've installed at least 3 of these and i checked out your site, i was wondering if you could share a little more info as far as how much of a difference you felt in the overall steering and responsiveness of your car.

I was told in the past that if you had an HF CRX that all the bars would made a difference. For one, the car is light. Secondly, it has no rear sway bar.

For some reason, my shitbox HF. Installed H&R race springs and a rear lower tie bar. It made a world of a difference with mods alone.
