anyone know the name of this thing?? the thing where u have holes in ur back bumper. anyone know the name and price of it?? and does anyone have it for sale. oh and does anyone know what it does for performance? any help??

 

its a diffuser that lets air drag release through the back bumper...worth a good 30hp to the wheelz y0

 

its called a rear bumper diffuser.. from what i understand, it reduces wind resistance by preventing air from being trapped under the car/ behind the bumper.. it seems like it would work, but i really dont know how much drag the rear bumper actually causes..hope this helps

Unless you have a hardcore drag car...Useless and gay mod.

 

you would think that would help on gas mileage for highway use, less drag is better at 75 MPH or so the less drag you get the better gas mileage you get. but its not really gonna do much for a car thats not below 12's

 

diffuser , never really liked it, but it is your car

 

str make a wind defusser i get them for 130 each or ac autotechnic has them too

 

they are ugly and pointless just like most of the guys said above. unless your one heck of a fast car then i wouldnt even bother
