Ok I picked up my new Turbosmart Ultragate today but need help identifying which port is for what. I've seen the wastegate hooked up into an integra and he used the top port as teh vacuum source from the turbo. So the lower port would be for a boost controller then. Installing soon. Help

 

Depends on which boost controller you're using. If you're just running off the wastegate, the side port will need a vacuum/boost signal and the top port should be open to atmosphere.

 

I'll be running the AVCR. couldn't find any good pictures when I search.

ok I've been reading theads on vacuum sources for wastegates and came up with a pretty good conclusion. For the wastegate, the top port is for a electronic boost controller and the lower port is for the compressor/manifold vacuum. Is this correct...?


Also, aftering reading debates on where to get the vacuum source for the wastegate, couldn't you tee the vacuum source from the compressor with the vacuum source from the manifold to the wastegate...?
