not sure, but what i ve read and talked to a few guys that are doing my block work. is that you should make sure you even need it
like i have a 92-96 h22, he said it pointless cause the deck is even. they are meant for 97+h22 that are step decked and a bit lower.. just something to think bout

i didnt think f22s or h22s were open deck blocks.....

but if they are i wouldnt get a blockgard i would get the block posted or sleeved...blockgard restrict coolant flow....and the place were u need the coolant the most at the top by the combustion chamber the coolant wont touch because the blockgard will be welded in there.

those little holes wont provide enough coolant to the head....get it posted if anything. or sleeved if u have the cash

h22s and f22s are open deck, h23s are closed....

ok rpm quoted me 1200 to resleeve the block with goldeneagle sleeves and 550 for arias pistons and 475 for eagle rods. now does eagle make rods ofr the f22b1 or h23a since they r the same or are they trying to sell h22 rods with custom price pistons ffrom arias. what did u pay for resleeving niedjb(sp?)

No eagles for F22b1. I didnt want to mess with the rod/stroke ratio by doing what you mentioned.

I sent GE the block and the pistons and it was $1100 for sleeve, bore, hone, and shipping ($50 each way)
