im having a problem switching gears
sometimes when i go to put it in first and start driving it will stall its like the car is gettin mixed up with first and third .every other gear is fine its just first.
Perhaps you need to learn to drive stick?
The only thing I've noticed is that if I am able engage first at a very low rpm (below, say, 900 or so) the car is sluggish at first. Dunno?

you arent even of legal age to drive let alone have your learners permit..unless they changed it..in ny..i think its the fact you need to learn how to drive stick...my little cousin is 13 and when i try to teach him how to drive stick in a parking lot he always downshifts to 3rd and leaves it there when he stops then he wonders why its:
1.Sluggish
2. Stalls
1.Sluggish
2. Stalls
i got the problem after i put the new motor in the car other wise it drove fine. i know how to drive stick something is wrong with the car. thanx for your help any way.
