Don't get it, not to long ago on tv, those news station did a consumer product test, and they had the dent king, they tested it on like 10 different cars, and the results, DIDN'T work, it may push it out a lil bit but it'd still be there.

Search archived topics. I bought it and it worked for a couple of dents - worth the $29 for the ones I removed. If you're bored buy it and pull a couple. If their bad, head for the body shop and pay $$$, or try professional dent removal.

I saw a UPN New 13 special (in So Cal) about the Dent King.. they went to a junk yard or something and hammered a dent into a van.. then pulled it out w/ the Dent King... the dent pulled out but you could still kind of see that the panel wasn't flush w/ the factory lines of the vehicle...

their verdict was that it worked.. but from the camera angle/shot you could still see the panel wasn't flush...

I have the Ding King... $20 at WalMart. It does work, but it's not exactly what they show on TV. It takes several pulls, not just once like they show on TV. It can also pull dents out too far, but it comes with a tool to deal with that. It wont pull sharp dents, like ones in your quarter panel on that body line. I used it on a dent in my passenger side door and it made it much less noticable. For $20, it's a decent product, but their ads are a bit misleading.

I've pushed out all my door dings on my car myself. There are only a few spots on a 2 door teg that you cannot get to the backside of the sheet metal at. All you need to do is remove the interior panels where the dent is.

Cake. And it's free.

I'm getting the only three dents that I have (from shopping carts) removed this next friday for $100 at the local paintless dent removal place. Then my car will be dent free and looking sexy again. Just get 'em done at the local shop, I wouldn't waste money on some stupid gimmic.

sorry to bring this thread back to life, but is it really only $40 per panel? so i can have like 4 dents on one panel, and it'll only cost $40 to remove all of them? if so, i wanna get my door and quarter panel all pulled out....

dent wiz quoted me ~400 for my car- and only 3 panels needed about 8 dings removed, total.

40 a panel must be for 1 dent.

I think paying for a ding king ($20) is better than taking it to a place that charges $70+ to fix a ding.
