I've always heard the H22A1 had an external coil distributor vs the H22A4 having an internal coil. Unless both these diagrams are wrong, aren't these both external coil?

I wasn't aware that US spec preludes had anything but external coils.....only the JDM H22's came with internal coils.....

yes both the H22A1 and H22A4 have external coils, the JDM H22's have internal coils.
