Ported polished cc'd head
CTR intake cam, ITR exhaust
JG intake manifold, throttle body matched

USDM YS1 gsr cable tranny
6 puck clutchmaster w/ heavy pressure plate
lightened flywheel
Mugen chipped ecu, no fuel cut, more agressive map in lift
I/H/E
with a 22x7.5 slick
what would be a good estimate for an et?

Oh and its a street stripped 89 crx dx

i hit a 12.97 @103 with b16 .030 USDM ITR pistons,skunk cams, ITR intake man.,JG t/b, J1 trans, stock clutch/flywheel. on 22x8 slicks.

you should atleast low 13,s 12,s are possible with good driving.

 

IMO u will run 14 flat or high 13's
stock B16 will make u run 15 flat
all other stuff will at least get u into 13's as a good driver

 

I don't think you are going to see 12's with that step. Probably more in the range of low 13's with a good driver. But their are many things that can determine the outcome like tire pressure,driver,weather,elevation,etc......

dude, if you run a 15 flat with a stock b16, you absolutely suck as a driver.

15's flat suxs as a driver hmmmmmm so what is your best time for a bone stock b16?? Toooo many factors to take in for a 1/4 time slip. Track conditions/upkeep, tires slicks or factory, air pressure, tire pressure, distance above/below sea level, engine condition. Accually here I've never seen a "stock" B16 in a rex or hatch run 15 flat driver yes. Back to your post though IMO 12's is gonna be pretty low anywhere with a N/A. I know ls/vtec and GS-R both turbos that run 12's and another h22a turbo hatch runs mid 11's and thats not stock either but that in TN mountains above sea level bad atmosphere. Also does it really matter if you dont run 12's are you gonna sell out at liquated prices? my 0.02 worth. Also what are you doing about Valve/Valve springs running duals, w titanium retainer??? no rev limit i would hope so cause if there stock run to 9k a few times and bye bye, sorry built bottom end and large cams on factory springs

Mid 13's

 

i personally think it would run low 13's and with a good set of tires and a launch then you'd be in 12's. my friend jeromy had a b16 stock bottom end, with skunk stage 3's, springs and retainers, skunk manifold, 70mm tb, flywheel, clutch, no exhaust, headers, intake, 310 injectors and was revving to 10krpm and ran a 13.5 in his 89 hatch on some shitty tires.

my other friend adam just put together his b20/vtec w/ a p&p head, type r valves, skunk springs and retainers, stage 2 cams, itr manifold, headers, 70mm tb, and clutch and flywheel w/ a ys1 lsd tranny. It pulls insane!!! easily 12's, we're hoping for a 12.7 in april at CMI.

hey Havok, i know this is kind of OT, but how did your friend like the 70mm tb? Did he notice a significant change? That's the next thing i'm tinkerin with...

 

Another thing that everyone forgot to mention is weight....BIG difference there. Someone can mention they run 12's, but what you don't know is the damn car weighs 1700.

how far stripped out? are we talking just the carpet and interior is taken out? or are we talking lexan all around, no dash, aluminum seat type stripped?

It MAY be able to hit the 12s. It's tough to say. My guess would be low 13s.

ran shitty. wasnt timed tuned or anything. S1 tranny. had to roll outta first and second to stop real spin. and still hit 14.5's. so im thinking wit clutch/tires i'll hit 14 flats all day long.

i'll prove this when the weather is better. when i hit the track. as now i have HD pressure plate organic clutch and new tires.
