Default Question to those who have an oil cooler or B series block laying around...

I found a larger oil filter that may fit the R without a problem (same thread size... 20x1.5mm). Does anyone know if the oil cooler surface area (where the filter gasket meets the oil cooler) will allow a larger diameter gasket? Is there enough surface area for a larger gasket to not allow a leak? Factory/standard size filter gasket is about 2.48" in outside diameter. The larger filter I found has a gasket outside diameter of 2.83". Thanks.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=421573 Sounds like it may fit without a leak.
