Taking apart the dash (retaining clips)
THis is on a 99 Accord EX 4dr manual sedan. I am going to be putting a stock Cd changer in and it is going to be console mounted. Judging by the directions when you are dissembling the dash area and the under panels and such there is A LOT of retaining clips, and fewer screws. It says a few times to take care not to damage the clips. Anyone have any advice on how to get these clips out easily or to even get them out without damaging them. TIA
it will came off no matter what, you just have to reach deep enuff to get all of them back.
you can get those at honda dealer.
my method doing it is to use those magnet pointer(pencil shape that you can extend like a antenna), look for it in autozone, wal mart, etc.
save me number of time, working on the hood and tight spaces
