most people sell them after 6 months
The only reason the blower fails is , 1 Too much belt tension and 2, spinning it too many RPM's.
The blower has 100,000 mile warranty, That's why the factory choses them. Here's a the key , Don't spin the blower over 16,000 rpm's and it will out last most motors. Don't run anything smaller then a 3.6" pulley on the Blower and you wont have belt slipping problems.

Had my blower on for nearly 4 years.....75,000 hard driven boosted miles. The blower still works perfectly, but the engine recently gave out due to ringlands.
The blower manifold once developed a crack in it but JR replaced the manifold free of charge and it's been perfect ever since.

I've had my JRSC on my Civic for 3 1/2 years, 37,000 miles.
The Idler pulley needed to be replaced, but I am still on the
original drive belt!
