I have a friend of a friend that's going to sell me some HID's. He has full philips kits he's gonna sell to me at cost (he owns a shop), but he recommends that I get these "Xenon" brand HID's. He says they are brighter then the philips. I know he's not trying to trick me or anything because he said he doesn't care what I buy from him he just recommends these. He said that they are made in Korea. I'm just trying to get some feedback from you guys on these off brand? hids.

They are not "Xenon" brand.

Ask him for specifics. By "brighter" he is probably uneducated in the realm of HIDs and is looking at the color temp.

 

Xenon depot is having an HID group buy here on HT. They're using phillip bulbs and blast. I forgot how much they're askin for it.

 

Xenon is the gas used in the HID's...there are no such brand as Xenon. (other then the body kit )
