Whats the cheapest youve seen EP3 si's????
i'm trying to get an 02 for 16 for evrything less side bags
We see like 5 posts a week on this subject, in a forum that doesn't get much activity to begin with. I don't mean to be rude, but please do a search, it has been covered many times.
...but as months go on, and with 02's still sitting on the lots, dealers negotiating bracket tends to change, so people will get better deals. so its still a relevant topic, its not like its bumping a legitamate topic down, there's hardly anything good in this forum anyways, not enough mods out there for them yet.

im waiting til the end of march, and if one of the two white ones is still sitting on the lot, im gonna offer em $13k out the door cash. take it or leave it. hopefully they take it.
dealer offered me 2002 any color (except yellow) for 14,600. Saw it on carsdirect.com for 14,071. i think i saw someone say they could get one for 13,500 in another thread where some guy was asking if anyone could find a yellow one, but i dont know if dealers will really go that low. Anyone know how much of a rebate is on the 2002's?
I saw brand new ones for $14,900 in Southern California. I almost bought one.
. guys there were crazy, wouldn't let me test drive it and no that isn't a typo, they wanted $28,000 for a Civic Si
Here in Austin, Tx, the local Acura dealership has 7 02s for 15k a each. They have all of the options, and they have anywhere from 10k miles to 20k miles.

I did a search actually, again nothign came...but anyway I asked cause my boy just bought one in cali for 14.3 w/ side ab's. I might get one Im not sure...
All of these statements are from guys that SAW one at this or that dealer for this or that price. I don't believe any of you. I want to hear from actual owners who purchased a BRAND NEW O2 si for less than $17,500. Scan and post your purchase orders please.
Thanks
Thanks
Many people on this board have bought them for dirt cheap. I for one, talked a dealer down to 15.5k for an 02 in Silver. But I didn't like the Silver and I didn't want a car that had been sitting there for a year. So I decided on the 03. I paid 2 grand more, but I got a color I liked much more, got side airbags and a car with 23 on the clock when I took delivery instead of 80+ miles on the 02.
Web Head,
I shall scan and post my purchase from Nov 2002 from Metro Detroit for an 02 Si for $15,990 with floor mats and dest. included and no DOC fee.
Even at $15,990 it is still too expensive. They are going for a lot less now IF I can find an 02 Si left.

I am not novice at car deals. I have probably purchased at least 9 new cars and have read all the consumer reports, car buying guides, etc. Not to mention, I purchased a 02 Accord Special Edition from this same dealer one month earlier for my wife. The sticker on that one was 21,550 including dest. We purchased that car for $18,900. $2600 off the sticker. So that was a great deal. This dealer really wanted to sell me the 02 SI as I was a repeat customer.
So, how y'all are buying EP3's for $15,900, I don't know. I guess if you add the options I got, the price would be around $16,900. And that is $2,200 less than the best deal I could get. You should feel fortunate.........
I just slapped the For Sale sign in my EP today, and i KNOW im going to take a HUGE loss when (IF really) this dumb thing sells.I bet i lose 5K or more selling this car.Heh,like i already said,IF it sells. If the dealers cannot sell em im going to have a pain in the *** selling mine.
I guess the 02's are so cheap because because the 03's are out now. As I stated in my previous post, I purchase my 02 back in August of last year. I could have purchased a demo(1,000 miles) back then for around 17,600 or so and that is about the same deal as the 03 for 17,900 if you consider the time factor.
I work for honda in the panhandle of Fl. I can get a 03 for 15000. That was a month ago. I think since i only owe 918.00 on the EK now, i am going to check back into it tomorrow. May be driving it home.
