Default pistons:pr3 vs p73-00

besides the coating on the type-r pistons whats the difference between the two? Since they yeild about the same compression in a gsr motor(pr3:11.345 and p73-00:11.333) wouldnt it be better to get the pr3 since you can get a set for alot less? Im choosing between the two because i can get a set pr3, brand new, for $210 compared to $275 for p73-00. i just want to no whats the difference between the two besides compression. thanks

The type r pistons also have this machined oil path to help lubricate things. The valve pockets on the piston are deepened because of the higher lift cams that the type R runs. I'm not really sure if those differences are significant. But they're the only differeces i can think of for now.
