b16a in crx question

Default b16a in crx question

what must i do to my engine bay before i try to install a b16a engine in my 90 crx dx

remove the engine.... consult a helms to guide you.. this would mean removing the plugs from the chassis, coolant lines, undo the linkage... etc

i already pulled the engine. i am talking about the engine bay. i heard there was some things i had to do to the wheel well

Yeah, you have to bang in the frame rail with a sledgehammer, so the b16 alternator has clearance. There is an illustration on the hasport website. Also you can notch your front crossmember to make room for headers in the future....
