what'cha think???
This is my idea. I saw a new Laguna seca M3 today on the highway, and can't stop thinking how awesome that color would be on an S2K. now Add some Comptech 18"workmeister wheels, drop it a little, with a couple mugen tips hangin out the back???
any1 w. photshop???

^ yup!
Monte Carlo Blue or even Suzuka Blue will both be nice. No need to repaint a brand new car. Nothing beats OEM paint.
Take it from a guy who has had his car painted 3 times (same car)
Also ditch the 18's. 17 Max on an S2000 IMO

Actually factory paint is not really that good. Factories are only alowed to spray a certain amount of paint per day so they put just enough paint on the cars to cover them but the paint is extremely thin. Also a lot of factory paint jobs have orange peel in the finish and honda is really bad about it especially on te dark colors. But that may just be my experience and that is what i was told.
I've never walked past a brand new car (from honda at least) and seen a shitty paint job.... JMO.

I never said that the paint jobs were shitty i just said that they are not the best because they do not put as puch base coat down as a custom paint job would have. I have had a lot of experience with detailing cars and in a lot of factory paint jobs that are not as good as custom jobs, but that is just my opinion.
i actually think it'd be not half bad
there's a lagunaseca m3 blue mk3 jetta coupe, and a mk3 GTi... and both of em look niiiice
s2k in that color would be alright as well. small car, can paint it wild colors and it'll look alright.

What leads you to believe that the factory always has the best paint jobs. I was wanting to know if you have even detailed cars or painted cars as well? Why do you have to be rude on every single post that you make?
