What's a cheap/worthy tire?!?!
Blew a tire and dont want to buy another Toyo Proxie ( I HATE these tires). Looking for a 205/40 - 17 tire that is reliable, keeps decent traction, and is cheap. I havent shoped for tires in a long time and have no idea whats good.
Help?

Pretty sure they hate you more
No matter what the Tire Company, 205/40R17's are NOT THAT RELIABLE.
What Air pressure are you running. One big misconception is that the more you inflate the tires, the less they'll pop. SORRY but the more PSI the greater the risk of a ROAD HAZARD. Putting more PSI just means the tire will hold more weight, it's not gonna be ANY MORE DURABLE.
If you can't afford em, TOSS EM!!! Go back to the basics and stick with 15's mang!

i typically run them with 40psi but I havent touched them in a while and with the cold weather, Im sure the pressure dropped a little before this.
The reason I hate these tires is that wet or dry I get no traction. They spin no matter what. I dont even have any fun with the LSD because the tires give out before I even get into a corner. They are like 120 a piece and $70 kuhmos grip better IMO.
I just wanted to see what people are using on here that they know have reliable traction and a decent price tag.
