Default Koni installation and Bumpstops.

Hey guys, I did a search but did not quite find the answer I am looking for...nor can I figure it out from Koni's diagrams. What I need to is do I need to trim the bumpstops at all? If so do, would I trim both front and rear suspension bumpstops and by how much? Anybody know this an answer to this?

Edit: BTW They are Koni Yellows.

Ok I tried searching "bumpstops" and it seems that most people cut 4 bumpstops by half. Does that seem right to you guys? I guess that's what I'll do but can someone confirm this for me.

I had Koni Yellows and Eibach Sportlines on both cars.... I think it also depends on your springs.. but w/ my Eibach Sportlines I think I trimmed the bumpstop in 1/2 (2 of the notches..not sure what their called.. but when you see it you'll know what I mean)... look to see what your spring manufacturer says in their instructions/documentation..

They are ITR springs so they did not come w/ instructions... Would you cut less for milder spring rates. I thinking two or 1.5 would be good for all 4 bumpstops? Does that sound logical?

How much you cut your bumpstops depends on the springs. Since you have OEM ITR springs I suggest you don't cut them at all. My H&R Sport springs also came with a sheet saying specifically to not cut the bumpstops, so I left mine whole.

When I had neuspeed sports and bilstens, I think it said not to cut them either, but it hit the bumpstops all the time and they had to be cut. Thats not for sure, but I ended up cutting them anyways, because they hit too much. They are now on my buddies teg, I sold them to him.
