Default Your opinion and experiences with Air/Fuel Ration meters.....

This question could have been asked in any other forum, but I picked here because I figured most of you would be running one, especially if you are Forced Inducted.

Which ones are you running and which one has been proven to be the most responsive and accurate?

K+N
Autometer
Halmeter
etc,
etc
List any other you may be aware of

Thanks

None of those you listed are accurate... I suggest a Tech Edge with wideband o2 sensor that will give you an exact reading. If you can't afford that...Go with a Greddy A/F gauge which also comes with its own o2 sensor 4 wires close as you can get to a wideband...though if you dont find a killer deal on it from b18bturbo (viren) then retail is only about $100 cheaper than the techedge. Dont get one of the cheap ones...they are just used for light shows

Any gauge that runs off of the stock narrowband O2 sensor is nothing but show. Go Tech Edge.

I sure wouldn't say the "regular" a/f meters are useless, that's a little harsh. A cheapo a/f meter is still much better than having no a/f meter. IMO, it's necessary to have at least a cheapo a/f meter to make sure the car is running normally. I'd personally be nervous ragging on my car and having no clue what the a/f is. Now you'd be stupid to try and tune ur car with the cheap a/f meter, but it can be helpful. Surprisingly after tuning my car with the techedge.. the J&S "cheapo" a/f meter appears to be fairly accurate, believe it or not. Different leds correspond to different a/f ratios on the techedge..

yea the meter isnt really the prob its the sensor..
unless you got a wideband it makes no sense of going by the gauge.
