I heard Jun 3's and Skunk2 Stage 2's are similar... so I would think the Skunk2 Stage 3 cams to be the most agressive and power yeilding...
My friend's JUN3's made more power in his CRVTEC than the SK2S2's... he had both of them and the JUN's pull a lot harder on top... The SK2's midrange is a bit better but I love the high strung top end ****... hahaha... SK2S3's are streetable too but I love those JUN's... My friend's 2.0L LSVTEC race car running 15.0:1 compression, a Portflow head, ITB's, RC 440's, Hondata, SK2S3's, and sprockets ran an 11.41@117 which isn't all that good but the gearing was a bit messed up with the MT 24.5x8x13 slicks and he was finishing at just as he hit it into fourth... With good gearing he should have been able to pull a low 11 hopefully high 10.... Anyways he tore that motor apart so it's onto a new one... That motor made 254whp and 163wt so it was making okay power... Oh well tho, I still like JUN3's the BEST... Actually my friend's CRVTEC/EK ran a 12.62@107 with a CTR IN cam (GSR EX) and now he's also going with JUN3's... It's has never been tuned on the dyno so we're gonna dyno it with the CTR cam first then dyno it with the JUN3... I'll post up the charts just as soon as I get them... Peace
i plan on only revving this thing to about 8700 would the juns peak by then because i can get a used set of them for $700 or some stage 2's for $450
Yea, up to about 8800 felt good in my friend's CRVTEC.... Those cams are rowdy, but if you go with them be sure to use the JUN linear progressive valvetrain... My friend didn't on his first CRVTEC... The Portflow inners were too stiff and the shattered the cam at ~6000... Cracked the pistons, destroyed the head... It's not worth it unless you have the valvetrain and I'm sure you know that... Peace

the jun's should be good for up to 9500 rpms, im having trouble finding a pair myself right now...buying used cams isnt too good from what i hear but its up to you. im going jun, but apparently jun usa isnt offering and camshafts right now. dont know why. if anyone knows where i can find them new let me know or post a link. i guess i waited too long but it took too long to save up enough money. jun's seem to be the 'best' street cam right now.
