Default Question about sleeves in the h-series

Well this doesnt go for just the h series but my mech. who is relseeving my block was just going to use his iron sleeves that he uses in his shop. He asked me today if my Je forged pistons would work in his?? all iron sleeves are the same right?? Iron is iron? By the way im running BILLET CROWERODS Honda Prelude SI, Accord 2.2

Im doing away with the h22a4 **** it might as well spend the extra $$

So you are running an H23 crank?

What year is your H22A4 block? Are you using it? What happened to it?

i guess as long as the frm coating isn't on the sleeves you should be good. Bump up anyways.

there is gray cast iron,there is nodular ductile cast iron,there is also chrome-moly ductile cast iron.Regular cast iron is what comes stock on b series and most stock honda engines.Nodular ductile iron is mostly used by people like GE,Bensons,RSmachine.This chrome-moly iron sleeve is something new to me,i may be getting my h22a block resleeved with these kinds of sleeves sometime in the next few months.

correct me if i'm wrong by chrome-moly is more of a steel than iron (and yes I know steel is made of iron, but i mean it's more like a "forged steel" than cast iron)
