Guys I am in desparate need of some parts to finish my engine build!

I need these parts from a 98+ H22A4 engine:

Main Caps (5)
Main cap bolts (10)
Girdle
Oil Pan
oil pickup thingy?

It has to be for a 98+ so if you have a wrecked block somewhere let me know!

the main caps have to be with the block, they are specifically machined to exact tolerances for each block and might screw up your bearings if you put them on another block. what happened tot he old one?

 

which caps? we are line boring the H22A1 block to accept a 98+ crank (yes the journals got larger), but we are thinking the main caps are taller. We will just bore the block to the specs on the caps. Make sense?

 

yea, as long as youa ren't putting them on a stock block and everything is machined to fit it whould work. sorry still can't help you out on the parts tho

i think i still got a BRAND NEW oil pump pickup that i bought for my engine, only to find out i didn't need it b/c i had to have a special pickup for a Moroso Pan

Yeah I know that h22a4 is 97+, but I only want 98+ that is when the main bearing sizes changed.

 

well i have a brand new pickup from my 97 H22A4 somehwere around my shop if you need it


WAIT A ******* SECOND!!!!! how the hell are you gonna get the main caps to match up??? are you gonna re-linebore the mains or something???

 

Yeah...line bore the mains to match the caps. It's retarded but it's the only way this can work

find out if the damn oil pickup from a 97 H22A4 will work, and it's yours (for a slight fee)
