KYB shocks Vs Koni Sport Adjustables
How do these two compare with one another? Are there pros and cons to both set ups or no? If anyone has either of these shocks on his/her car please let me know how they ride and feel. I want one of these shocks with my skunk2 coilovers. Thanks
i prefer the koni to the kyb..just preference. The thing i like about the kybs is that to adjust the dampening there are 4 stages. That way you always know what setting you have it on unlike the koni's where just just turn a ****.

yes. Its just that the kyb's are easier to know where you are at then the koni's. Not that the koni's are hard to tell but the kyb's are just easier. Ya know?

Koni's I have had both however with Koni's you can send them of and get the revalved, shortended and other stuff that is not aviable with KYB's. However OTS KYB are double adjustabe, the adjust rebond and compression, where Koni are single adjustable, rebond only.

I ended up getting Koni yellows about 3 years ago and loved them.. so I might be a bit biased.. but I think if you can afford the Koni's then get them. you won't regret it.. I've personally dealt w/ Koni's warranty and parts they were great.. shipped me out a new hardware kit for free... I had them on Eibach sportlines for over 3 years and they handled well...
its true that the KYB might have an easier adjusting system since its indexed/numbered.. but the Koni isn't that hard.. you just turn it to full soft then up to where you want it and do the same for the other side (since there are no reference numbers or indexed "clicks")... all in all the Koni yellows had a nice stiff ride and they handled great and I didn't have any problems in the 3+ years I had them... lifetime warranty even w/ my over 1.5" drop.. KYB's warranty becomes void after lowering 1.5" or more... Koni Yellows

there are people who can't afford Koni's
, haha, I went with the AGX's instead and their running fine, in some ways I wish I went with Koni Yellows since "Ground Controls and Koni Yellows = KILLER COMBINATION" but I went with the "cheaper bang for your buck." It all depends on preference, I'm slammed back down since I got the Skunk2 Camber Kit so the hell with the warranty, if I blow them I can afford a second set for the same amount as purchasing one full set of Koni's, just my opinion, Peace
