pr3 vtec crossover!!!
Just to let some of you guys know that were wondering I just had one of my friends resocket my ecu tonite and I inserted a PYR chip the vtec crossover on this chip is 5200 rpm with a 8700 rpm rev limit. The factory crossover on the pr3 is indeed 4400 rpm at least it was on mine this was right on with my tach the reason I know this is because when I inserted the new chip it now crosses over at 5200. Just thought Id share some info.
hear ya, but why so hi? i had mugen chipped with 5k x-over on a fairly heavily modified b16 and wished i'd kept the x-over at 4.4k with the type of power delivery i had....
I just thought that 4400 was to low for vtec to crossover. It felt like it bogged down a bit. I dont like the new chip either. I think im bout to get another chip and try it. I dont want the knock sensor I want the vtec crossover above 4400 but less than 5200 and I dont want a speed limiter what do you guys recomend?

I am waiting to get my PR3 back from Adrian @ hyperducktuning. I am getting the MinesVX program which is 5.2k rpm vtec and no rev limit, and I am also getting the Spoon program with a 4.8k rpm vtec and a 9k rev limit. I hope I am happy with what I have choosen.
