what ecu in 95 gsr??? p 28?
There's really no point in switching to a P28 from a P72. You can chip your OBDI ECU just fine and the ECU wouldn't know or care if you replaced your stock dual runner manifold with a skunk2 IM. I switched to a P28 to run Hondata, but I had an OBDII ECU. It will give you a CEL if you remove the useless knock sensor however. The P28 would not.
True, but in case he wants to keep the p78 to return to stock, he could either find a chipped p28 in the class pretty easiliy or get an unchipped OBD1 version for about $120, then chip that...either way. Chipping the p78 is fine too, but tuners have just told me that the p28 is more flexible.

even if you chip the p72 ( ie for hondata) you can return it back to stock spec. thats what i did w/ my p72. no reason for someone w/ a b18c1 to get a p28.

and chipping it back to spec would cost how much? $125? either way, the $ is the same.
cost=free.
to return to stock, burna stock program to a $3 chip, or cut the J1 jumper so the ecu uses the stock program located inside of the cpu itself. Free to go back to stock
we not talking about hondata but if i was to get a hondata would i need a p28 ecu??
what car is the p28 from?
what car is the p28 from?
I believe the chips are physically the same but the programs are not due to the presence of another cam and more fuel. SOHC vs DOHC.
doesn't hondata software allow me to take a p28 map and change it to a p72?
