Well, I'm bringing my jg header to import builders to get the collector modded to 2.5 in tomorrow and my carsound cat is on it's way. The question is, how do I install it. The carsound doesn't come with any flanges or o2 bung, so I have to get that welded on at a muffler shop.

A. Should I run open header to the muffler shop and have them install the cat, flanges and everything there.

or

B. Should I bring my existing setup (dc 4-2-1 header & stock cat) and my new set up and just have them match the flanges up. And bring it home and install it.

Unless your muffler shop is around the corner...you wont get there
The cops will hear you in the next town over, and come pull you over, hahah.

my friends house is right next to it. and i can just go through inside streets to get there so that won't be the problem.

260 on ebay!! collector mod for 90.

 

could have gotten a dc jdm header for like 280 shipped brand new

 

that thing hangs way to low. and i want the low and midrange power, not top end.
my header is practically brand new.

Does anyone else what I should do.

See if Jerry can do the welding. Aren't there muffler shops close by to IB? Off on Euclid?

well...the dc jdm header doesn't perform better than the jg with the 2.5 in collector....good enough reason for me to go with the jg's

 

yeah, i just talked to jeff and he told me just to go open header to the muffler shop. can' wait to put it in.
