What size wet shot will a H23 hold?!
Hi, im 14 years old and i have a 93 prelude. it's non VTEC and im intrested in getting a Nitrous kit for it but i need to know what size shot will be fine and if i need a FPR? please help me!!
**** it, he might be serious. If you want the motor to last keep it at or below a 75 shot. You do not need an fpr. For a 50 shot all that you will need is the nitrous kit, one step colder spark plugs, and a purge kit. For the 75 shot retard your ignition timing 2-3 degrees as well. A nitrous pressure gauge and fuel pressure gauge are helpful for troubleshooting problems that may arise. A bottle heater will be beneficial as well but not absolutely necessary.
SSlude, i can drive my car. and i asked about nitrous, not for you to critisize me and tell me how well i can and cant drive.

ive got 150 shot jets but im gonna use them after i get my rods/pistons.
BTW, what kit do you have? 150 shot? Is it a plate system, or direct port?

Better start saving up those pennies. You'll need to resleeve the block to run forged pistons.

i believe you have to resleeve all h series motors to run forged pistons cause the dont have iron sleeves like b an d series motors. direct port systems you can run a 75 shot easily since there isnt a chance of you leaning out the mixture of nitrous and fuel. if its a first gen h series mototr then its closed deck and you should be able to run up to 100 shot with a timing retard.
A 150 shot will burn your tires off and send your clutch to hell. I hope you are going to go multi-stage or with a progressive controller. If you go with a progressive controller don't forget the back up noid and some better seals. NOS seals and progressive controllers don't mix.

i know of a few guys who are running 150 shot without one.
Hey kid, you say you're from flowery branch? I live there and have a white lude. Where you usually hang at? Let's see if we can meet up sometime and check the rides!

Out of curiousity what are their ETs and trap speeds? I'd expect both to be quite high relatively speaking.

Hey, I'm in the FB too. I drive a 240. I'd like to see your car sometime. I'll go up with Chase if he goes to see it.
