What is the stock weight of a 5th gen and 6th gen 2dr. accord, also what is the stock weight of a 92-96 prelude (3rd gen?) and 97-discontinued (4th gen?)?

 

a twin cam vtec lude from 93-now averages around 3100pds or about 1800kg? make sense? iiiiiii aaaaaaamm canadian! :>

a 5th gen accord 2 door Id imagine is juust under 3000..

my 5th gen 4doors with an H22a weighs exactly 2880 pds or around 1650 kgs but the car itself was an LX not ex with all the extra weight by means of power windows etc!

Not bad, considering an NSX weighs 3150 with a full tank of gas!

if you have extras such as leather and sunroof add a few more pounds

my 94 ex coupe with leather, stock wheels, manual, h22a, with a Corbeau drivers seat, no AC, no PS and a stainless header w/ 1/2 tank of gas weighs 2810

 

96 ex, h22a, no back seats, no spare/jack, no sound deadoning, no p/s (just the pump is gone, the line is still there), lightwieght kosei k-1 (12.8lbs), and my car weighs in at 2665lbs. just wait till i rip out the ac, heater, door panels, moonroof, window regulators... yippeee!

oh ya, with practically NO gas.

here are some weights from memory taken right out of the honda books from the dealer, not those websites which always seem to be wrong.

93-96 lude vtec= 2932
97+ lude= 2954
97+ lude auto=3009
97+ lude sh=3042

95 ex 5sp coupe=2954
95 lx 5sp coupe =283X
95 dx 5sp coupe=27XX

that 2880 is lx coupe auto

 

sounds about right. my 95 2dr EX weighted in at 2980 with no spare tire, no sounddeadning stuff in the trunk, stock rims , half a tank of gas, me, H22A.

4 doors are about 50lbs heavier
