Default HELP! all motor Guru's...

So i took delivery of my car today after it being down since sept. has a full 2l build on it using a GSR block and my R head with skunk2 stage 2 cams and a hondata s100 with the 440 base maps...i also have an AEM fuel rail and FPR and a FP gauge and RC 440 injectors.

now my problem is this... from a stop or starting from a slow roll, it feels like its hesitating, and at a stop when its in first and get ready to go and give it a little gas, it the tach kinda bounces around 1500 or so, like it doesnt want to go higher, and its real choppy...it hasnt been tuned yet, still breaking it in. my guess is its getting too much fuel..the guage reads at around 40, but if i take the hose off it goes up to around 50...now where do ya'll believe i should have it set? would it be safe to drop it down while breaking it in and then fine tune it at the dyno or what? any help is very appreciated!

if theres anything else you might need to know about the setup too trouble shoot it, let me know but i think i included everything relevant to the problem, oh im also running at 13-14 degree timing.

Thanks Guys!

It sounds like you are definitely flooding the engine with too much fuel. The flooding will wash out the rings and basically ruin your breakin. If I was you I would put the stock injectors back in while breaking her in. As long as you don't put too much load on the engine too hard you should be fine (no detonation).

Better yet, get it tuned asap....

Sounds like you are running to fat with those 440's. Drop the fuel pressure and get it tuned ASAP.
