Default HELP 88 CRX owners!!!

my crx is dumped on tein ha's and i can't get the passanger side front wheel to 'tuck' as much as the other 3 wheels, i have hurd that there is a defect with the 88's and the passanger side front wheel sits a little bit higher then the other 3. is there any way to fix this hight problem? it makes my car look like poo in my eyes and i don't want to cut the tein spring to make my car sit level. its sooooooo noticable to the naked eye. its almost making me feel that something is bent because i had reg. coilovers and didn't notice this much gap. any help would be appreachiated!!!!!!! thanks honda-tech!

Something just might be bent. Try taking the helping spring out on that side, and see if that helps. Since you dont have any pics of anything its kinda hard to tell what it could be.

It could be that the other side is soo low, that it's making that side go up some.
Just a thought.

If your helper spings are out then use your coilover for what they are made for. Raise parts up untill it is level.

i never had a problem like that with my 88 rex? i had coilovers, and then had H&R springs... always sat fine... you must have something bent that you aren't noticing... your bottom fork (the part the strut sits in).. is it bent the right amount? if it is bent closer together it would cause it so sit a little higher? good luck though. if you need some parts let me know... i have a wrecked 88 crx dx. good luck

i have honestly checked everything, my car has been apart all the way down to just the chassis and everything has been put together properly and tourqued. only the trailing arms and the cross members are stock. the forks, knuckles and the tie rods are DA6, the suspension is off an EK9 and the motor is just a D16Y with a SSO ZC tranny. i have looked at everything and don't know what is the problem. my only thought is that maybe the chassis is now bent from cetching a bit of air twice (woooops) and this is causing the left front of the car to sit higher any thoughts??? thanks!!! oh and i know a million ppl must be looking for gen 2 crx shells but so am i, IM if you know a good deal please, all I can say is SALT ON ROADS = RUST = **** CHASSIS

Ummm, there is no oem spec anymore since you have a conglomerate of parts. That's going to be tough to find unless you can track down something that is specifically bent.

almost every part on my car is OEM, most of the parts i put on are from an importer. i think im just going to break down and tell him to put an EF8 in the container, but thats going to cost me

if the suspention is from an EK9 then you need EG Forks for the front.

Because the way it was made. I think it has to do with that the shocks are shorter. You should just email tein and tell them EXACTLY what you have.
