B20 in an 88-91, questions.

B20 in an 88-91, questions.
The other day I was reading a magazine and saw B20/vtec's in 88-91 hatchbacks. My question is, will the wire harness from those year SI's plug right into the B20 block? If not, which ones would it plug into. My understanding is those years would be plug and play for 90-92 LS B18A, 87-89 ZC, 88-91 B16A and other 88-91 D16A6 not the new D16Y7 and Z6's. Because if they do plug right in, you could get it BAR approved right? Someone help a confused HT member por favor.

As of right now, my B16 doesn't have any of that hooked up. I'm using VAFC to run the vtec so would I have to add those wires later?

you can run the b20 the same way you're running the b16, or you can wire up the vtec oil pressure, vtec solenoid, and knock sensor!
