Lease, I got a outstading money factor on the car so I had to jump on it. Have not decided what to do with the car. About 2 years on the lease to go and I hope that they redesign the car in between there so I can just hand the keys back to honda and take the new version if I like it. 0 out of pocket lease with tax around 500 flat.
I purchased mine after my civic got stolen and am currently taking it in the a$$ by the finance co. But the S is worth it.
Miss the civic though.

Leasing actually works out great for me as is a tremendous tax break for me and I get to drive a really nice reliable car w/ great warranty for a low low price.
At the end of the lease, I don't have to try to sell the car, get reamed on a trade in, or any of the like.
I can give it back, keep it, or get a newer car (which is what I will do).
Leases are nothing to be ashamed of.
Leases are bad if you are leasing because you want to ball and you should not be balling with a low income.
On the other hand, leasing is great if you benefit more financially than you would a purchase.
My s2k was leased because it was in the price range I was looking for, 2 it was either going to be the s2k, 330ci, or is300, all great candidates, but the s2k was more fun. Either car I would have least, and out of all of the cars chosen, where chosen for reliability, and the fact that they were really nice cars from the factory that I would not feel compelled to modify.
This is why I have my EJ, my civic is the fun car, the s2k is the daily driver.
